G’day Forts Fans! Yesterday saw the inaugural edition of the Forts tournament. Entrants from all over the world battled it out for the title of Supreme Champion.
At the beginning there were 29 entrants, and over the course of the single elimination competition these were whittled down. The tournament began with best-of-one battles for the first round, then best-of-three until we had two competitors left.
The final saw two battle-hardened fort commanders face off over a best-of-five series of explosive encounters, with us watching the action live thanks to Forts observer feature. In the end xorfl came out out top, vanquishing worthy opponent xRayz3n with superior tactics and strategies. We’d like to say a big thank you to Quxzcover for organising the whole thing. He did a great job, and intends to host more in the future. Thanks also go out to all those who agreed to be referees.
